 In the Hip Hop fraternity, the MCs have not ventured in setting many concerts for reasons best known to them. GNL Zamba had the first ever successful hip hop concert ‘koi koi’ and Navio followed with half a legend. Today, sources that directly link to Keko’s camp have revealed to HiPipo.com that the booming MC will be launching her first album ‘Kekonian’ on 4th May, 2012. Remember, this very date has been marked by another group of promoters for the highly anticipated Battle of Champions to feature Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine. Come 4th May, Keko will also be staging Kekonian concert at a venue that has not yet been confirmed. On the album launch, Nigerian star Ice Prince and Kenya’s Madtrax will be performing as official guest artists, both confirmed. In about 1 week’s time, Keko will be releasing her new video featuring Madtrax. Keko has been in the music industry for about 2 years now; she has successfully grown to become a household name, she has been nominated and won various awards, including continentals at Channel O awards 2011. |
